Notice!  If the Monday before any Sunday tournament is a federal holiday then you may pre-fish that Monday up to midnight.

The 2013 Championship will be held during the Central Texas Boat Show at the Bell County Exposition Center in Belton on the 12th of January 2013.  Teams will be fishing Lake Belton with the weigh-in starting a little after 3pm on Saturday inside the dome of the Expo Center. There will be a captain's meeting Friday evening at 7pm the 11th of January at the boat show.  Each team should have a representative attend.  There is no cost to fish the championship but there will be an optional side pot of $100 per team that will be collected Friday evening.


The top 12 teams of each tournament will automatically qualify for the championship.  Points will be calculated based on how well a team finishes in each tournament and the top 12 points finalists after removing the teams that automatically qualified will also be eligible to fish the championship.  Entry fee is $200 per team per tournament if pre-registered by 6pm the Thursday before the tournament.  Afterwards entry is $250 per team and teams may register the morning of the tournament at the lauching ramp.  Full tournament rules will be posted at a later date.  For this year's event there will also be a couples division and an adult/youth division.  Registration will be the same, but these divisions will also have the opportunity of winning a separate jackpot.
